Title :
Elderly slapped in video: Police investigating woman for allegedly assaulting mother

Summary : Police confirmed on Tuesday that a report has been lodged against a 25-year-old woman who slapped and allegedly assaulted her 58-year-old mother outside a flat in Lower Delta Road.

Response : I think that children should be grateful to their parents when they grow up. Parents are the one who give them what they needed to grow up into a healthy adult, so they should in return give back to their parents by giving them a relaxing elderly life. Her mother was the one who bore her for 9 exhausting months, raised her and cared for her. I find that many people nowadays are ungrateful to their parents. They take everything from granted because their parents didn't let them experience enough hardship and independence in life. They are covered from head to toe by the shower of their parents' love. Yet, they don't appreciate those love given to them by their parents. This 25 year old lady should indeed be ashamed of herself, as she is an adult but she still does not know how to think. Even if there is fights and quarrels among families, there should never be disrespect and ungratefulness.

  1. Parents work very hard to raise us up, yet people take it for granted and disrespect them, or don't treat them as human beings, even abandoning them. These are inhumane acts, as if it weren't for the parents, the children would never be where they are today. Parents are a very important part to people's lives, but I do not understand why some people treat them badly.
