The issue being discussed here is about a teenage girl who kicked and scratched a police officer who visited her house to arrest her brother. the brother admitted to two charges in court. Carmen Chng Jiawen was 16 years old then. She refused to open the door and shouted vuklarities at the police officer. She then scratched the policewomen and kicked her in the knees and stomach. After she was handcuffed and taken to a police car, she swung her legs against a back door and kicked a rear window.

From my point of view, I think that the act of the teenage girl, is really rude and should not condoned. The police officer is just doing her job which is to arrest her brother since he is being charged two charges. Hence, i feel that it is really innocent of her being kicked and injured by the girl, Carmen. The police officer was trying to restore law and justice but instead, innocently got hurt by her. i think that Carmen should apologise to the police officer since it is not right to hurt someone without any reason. i understand why Carmen injured the police officer. she did not want her brother to be arrested and she was just trying her very best to protect her family member from any danger. however, she should accept the fact that her brother did commit offences, and should face the music. i hope that she will reflect on her mistakes and do better next time. She should have a more matured mind too since shes already 16 and should know that one has to pay for what he has done.

  1. Good point of view and feelings on what should be done instead is clear.
